Lines by JD Asphalt & Sealcoating is a family-run paving and sealcoating business in Austinville, Virginia. This page explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not to cover us — if anything here is unclear, call us on 276-768-9801 and ask.
What we collect
The quote form is the only place this site collects personal information. When you submit it we receive:
- Your name and phone number, which are required so we can call you back.
- Your email address, only if you choose to give one.
- The town or address of the job, so we can work out travel and scheduling.
- The service you selected, the property type, and anything you typed into the message box.
- The IP address the request came from. This is included in the notification email purely so we can identify and block spam submissions.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site, and there is no customer login or account.
What we do with it
We use it to respond to your enquiry — to quote the work, arrange a visit and get in touch about the job. That is all. We do not sell your information, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Three services are involved in running this site, and each sees a limited slice of the data:
- Resend delivers the email containing your enquiry to us, and the confirmation back to you if you gave an email address.
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form was submitted by a person rather than a bot. It sets a cookie to do this.
- Google Analytics tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It uses cookies and reports on visitors as a group. It does not receive what you type into the form — only the fact that a form was successfully submitted.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies come from Turnstile and Google Analytics, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though the form's spam check may ask you to confirm you are human.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry arrives as an email and stays in our inbox as part of the ordinary record of jobs we have quoted. We keep it as long as it is useful for servicing and following up on your work, and delete it on request.
Getting your information removed
Email [email protected] or call 276-768-9801 and ask us to delete your details, and we will. You can also ask us what we hold. You do not need to give a reason.
Children
This site is aimed at property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
